There is currently a fault with the transmitter at Bromsgrove which is also indirectly affecting reception on TVs receiving signals from the Sutton Coldfield transmitter.
Until this fault is rectified you might experience poor reception on ITV, CH4, CH5 and ITV2 plus a few other channels although most channels including BBC channels are not affected.
Some TVs have lost all of these channels (Multiplex 23) but it's important to remember that while this transmitter fault exists you should not try and re-tune your TV but wait for the transmitter to be repaired.
If you can be certain that your TV Aerial is pointing at the Sutton Coldfield Transmitter and you've experienced these problems only since Friday the 14th of December 2012 then the re-tuning of your TV could resolve the problem.
